Passport Photo

A passport photo is a passport-style photograph, taken by a passport photographer, of your face to have inside your passport. The requirements for a passport photo are specific: the picture must be 2-by-2 inches square, and you must have a white background. The photograph must be recent, meaning it should have been taken within the last six months. In addition, you should not wear a hat or glasses in the photo (unless for religious reasons), and you should not smile. Note that if you do need to wear glasses for religious reasons, they cannot obscure your eyes. If you cannot meet these requirements on your own, you can visit a passport photographer to have your picture taken.
